Episode #473 – Jim Jefferies

“Jim Jefferies is an Australian stand-up comedian, actor and writer. He currently stared in the show “Legit” airing on FXX and has other more recent specials named “Bare” and “Freedumb”.”

Jim says his brother used to tease him because he is a cop. He got pulled over by a cop and breathalyzed at age 17 while driving. The cop pulled him out of the car and cuffed him and slammed him against the car as a joke to let his brother get some laughs.

“I am not a good looking guy but my parents would have made a horrendous looking woman” – Jim discussing his mum wanting a baby girl.

Jim and his son Hank at a game:

Jim got sued by paramount for his 4 DVD deal for around 90,000 pounds and more for expenses. He was the first British based comic in a very long time to get a HBO special in America.

Jim Jefferies sung in the Opera when he was younger. He had to have throat surgery, during the time he couldn’t talk for months he decided he was going to be a comedian.

Jim talks about Pauline Hanson and how she is “a very racist” politician.

Joe and Jim talking about how men don’t get equality when it comes to sexes. They talk about this ad with a baby boy going to a club and how gross it would be if it was a girl.

There is a guy in Australia who thinks he is Jesus and preaches. 7 Sunday night did a special on him in Australia.

At this time during the video, Jim makes a joke about being King and that is fine if you have a small amount of people to manage. I wonder if Joe took this idea and put it his new special called “Triggered” where he makes a joke about the presidency only being okay if there is about 10 people. Check it out here.
