Joe tells the story of an old friend who gave up training and working so that he could meditate full time. Some Guru’s ask philosophical questions that have no real answer and only by meditating can you find an answer to the question.
There are some philosophical questions that need answering:
One Hand Clapping.
The sound of a cricket.
Astral Projection – “A term used in to describe a willful out-of-body experience esoteric-ism”
Sensory Deprivation Tanks
“The sensory deprivation chamber has been the most important tool that I’ve ever used for developing my mind, for thinking, for evolving.“
These tanks are filled with salt and water and heated to your body temperature.

Seth Myers talks about Trumps ban on his show:
Howard Stern takes a friendship approach to Donald Trump and thinks that the presidency is not good for his mental health.
In this episode I felt like Joe and Pete weren’t on the same level. Pete was ready to crack jokes and be silly but Joe wasn’t relaxed enough. There is a disconnect between Pete’s silly personality and Joe’s seriousness throughout the podcast that I couldn’t help noticing. After Pete would crack jokes or make funny statements, Joe would just wash it away with a sarcastic or shutdown comment and try and continue the conversation. Overall Pete’s breakup with his girlfriend is interesting to hear about and his new show is going to be a good watch.
